We are a bunch of hooligans, rebels, underdogs and misfits that have banded together to create great ads with messages built-to-relate to the consumer and move products.
We are not for everyone. And everyone is not for us. We want clients who are not risk-averse. To take some chances. To understand the role of BMC as your ad agency and embrace us as being on your side. To see your business from another perspective. To be fiercely loyal but not blindly obedient. We want to be on the same page as our clients. Plain and simple.
BMC is small, lean and virtual. In fact, our shop model is based on the industry-famous Chiat-Day LA-virtual offices. Yes, we have small offices with a fancy conference room for meetings. But great ideas are not always given birth in sterile-cubicles during the 9-5 hours. So we work around the clock if needed...
Because the best ideas can hatch from walking the dog or watching Oprah or after several tequila shooters or a failed heroin overdose. So after the creative briefing, our staff and large freelance pool can do their thing in their environment. As long as the creative/execution is rock solid and deadlines are met and most importantly… the client is happy, everything is kosher in BMCville.
We do not chase after clients based on their budgets. We go after clients based on how well we connect. That is why we are selective in our search for new business in categories for which we have a passion.
In fact, culture and chemistry play a vital role when clients select an agency. It has been our experience that the best clients will compliment us. And vice versa. That is why we make a point to know and understand all the ins and outs of their business and forge strong bonds. We want that connection because some of the best relationships are created through this interaction… Mork and Mindy. Yin and Yang. (And our favorite) Gin and Tonic.
Now, a website cannot tell an all-encompassing story. That is what long boring brochure copy is for. And boredom is something we are against.
